(așa înjur eu) în momentul acela am zis asta e! va urma o adaptare a anului 2026. ioi! am murit în momentul in care unul dintre personaje în timp ce ținea un discurs îți descheia vestonul și-și etala pieptul gol.

nu cred că voi mai merge curînd la teatru pentru copii sau! mă duc sa-l vad eu prima data, apoi vedem daca mai duc si copilul.
cred că prea mult timp irosim încercând să menajăm sentimente ale unora și altora. Da, e multă abjecție și inadecvare în lumea creativă, și rezultatul e timp pierdut în care neîncrederea față de actul cultural se erodează.
Expoziția e mică, dar cu lucrări tare frumoase, abia aștept să le văd panotate. Un colț de frumusețe și de uitare - mulțumesc, Ioana!
I am smiling a little as I read this whole waste of oxygen battle of the little minds that seem to be everywhere these days. It is hard not to read occasionally, but it is a good thing when you can turn away and focus on the fresh, white and pure snow in the garden. There is magic in snow, at least until it gets trampled and grey. I look forward to reading about your exhibition. I do not recognise the names of your three exhibiting photographers, but maybe you can show us your installation?
Indeed, shutting up the phone and other news sources might be the equivalent to "ignorance is bliss" of yesterday. The three photographers are all living in my city. Unfortunately, I would say, they have fallen into the lure of Instagram, rather than publishing on personal websites, etc. I will show you the photos in a message, and I will most likely post here a few moments from the event (I have a small place dedicated to photography, but not too small to be ignored or forget once you see it).
Reading this post, I recognize some of the annoyances and frustrations instantly. There is so much talk and senseless 'content' around, and it's not that you want to take a break from everything per se, but in order to stay mentally sane, one has to discern the things that really matter from the noise and the eagerness to take part in the popularity, power and money-crap that sometimes seems to catch up with almost everybody. Yet there always are exceptions, and we should treasure them. You mentioned books, films, music and photography, but even enjoying that demands a lot of discernment.
The photo of Maria is very strong, I like the perspective and the combination of her face and the decaying apples. I like the photo of your (?) dog in the snow photos. I recognize the garden bench lying on its side from the photos you posted of Salomeea. Snow takes away a lot of noise from what we see (and hear), that would explain why many people find it calming. I didn't see 'sentimental value yet', but will certainly watch it. I hope it will please me even more than 'the worst person in the world".
I hope you''ll be able to stay focused on the things with value, such as the exhibition. I'd like to see it, but Cluj is a bit too far, so I'll wait for your post about it.
Vincent, forgive my lateness in replying; notifications came through haphazardly today. I'm trying to focus on nicer things, but from time to time, there are many simultaneous issues that really get to me (I'm sure it happens to everyone). The film (Sentimental Value) will make you feel bits of humanity which we often repress. I am also partial about After the Hunt, although I'm a fan of Julia Roberts. Something was off with the script, it just didn't work for me as I had expected.
‘Bits of humanity we often repress’ sounds promising, especially in a day and age we are in almost incessive sensory overload. We all could use moments in which we feel at ease, or even better, experience inner peace. Maybe I’ll watch one of those films tonight.
Yes, the world is ugly right now. I'm always smirking at your amazing, spot-on descriptions of the various examples! I love how you split your posts from current thoughts in your head to photos you made. I look forward to them in part, for this... Deci se poate și mai rău decât “ noi muncim, nu gândim”. Nu m-am gândit! 😂 Succes cu expoziția! Faină idee! Așa, pacienții vor intra direct cu gura căscată în cabinet.
Am butonat aici un ditamai comentariul despre una dintre zapezile pe care n-am sa le uit (pe langa cele de basm din copilarie), apoi mi-am dat seama ca spatiul e prea mic. L-am sters si l-am transformat intr-o insemnare de peste 600 de cuvinte, pentru maine. Asa cum mi se intampla privind unele dintre pozele tale, s-a produs un declic in imaginatia mea... Multumesc!

Am scris de Mission Impossible pentru că nu le știu alea cu eroi, Avengers etc. Sigur că niciuna nu prea merge aici la comparație, dar na, un text cere și sacrificii... Și da, răfuielile astea sunt atât de penibile, dar pe undeva bine că am scăpat de scrisorile deschise, la modă prin anii 2000 înainte de social media.

The opening night of 'Dialogues in the Making' was very enjoyable and there was lots of interest in our collaboration. The pictures have printed and are framed beautifully. Io am zis că văd Vecina, Moartea in Vacanta mi-a placut. Dar nu că producție artistică, ci ca maculatura de omorât niste timp, ras ieftin și atât. Cred că nici Bravo nu își considera filmele opere de arta, doar sketchuri mai lungi din care să facă niște bani și la care sa rada oamenii?
răspunsul meu ar fi prea lung ca să-l îndes într-un comentariu. Fiecare se relaxează cum simte. Eu mai mult m-am enervat, mai ales la clișeele rasiste complet deplasate cu &iganii.

To be honest, all the work was done by the wonderful folks at Autograph and colleagues at school. I just had the initial idea.
