Dacă un extraterestru ar vrea să înțeleagă dintr-un text scurt cum e o femeie de pe Terra în 2026, i-aș spune: Bro, citește asta și dormi cu poza de copertă sub pernă.

Părerea mea :-)

What a summer you must have had, going in and out of medical facilities and ending up at your own doctor's because you experienced serious stress! No wonder you weren't around here much, you were obviously tied up in other stuff that begged for your full attention. I really hope your autumn will feel much better and bring you some peace of mind and physical rest as well. I must admit your subtle description of your doctor's receptionist's communicative skills made me smile, just because the situations behind those carefully chosen wordings for sure weren't funny at all.

In the commissions and the portrait you'd taken earlier you mention, you seem to have found something of yourself back, which I can't really judge of course, but when I look at the cover photo of Romana's piano recording, I can almost feel the depth of the mutual understanding between you and her, it's very delicate and moody, in a most worthy manner. The new portrait you made is more in an idiom I'm more familiar with through your posts, and I really love it! It is so direct and her gaze is charmingly piercing, with a contrast that is just right for it. Gorgeous! The photo from above where she seems to be floating, in the powerful (color-graded?) dark green and red of her dress, is the one that reminded me of the famous Ophelia painting by Millais, I like that one too.

I think I saw some of your work with the designer from your hometown before. In these portraits too, I see a connection, although it doesn't speak to me as much as in the photos with Romana.

Out of the photos you took of Bianca (what do you mean by "building a character"? if this Google translation is even close to what you wrote), I really liked the last one, with the playful shadow of the vegetation on side of her face. Although it radiates confidence, I also see some doubt in her expression (please forgive my thinking aloud).

I hope we may see some of your sketching, when the time to show it feels right for you. In the section about learning to draw, there's another subdued expression of dissatisfaction ('teachers of gross mediocrity'), which is very understandable in the situation you described. It;s good to hear the drawing is helping you not to go crazy and your clinic is going in the direction you had in mind when starting it. Good wishes to you too!
